Recipe Of The Day

Here's our recipe of the day. The King's Supreme mini cakes with chocolate ganache.


1 1/2 Cups banana purée 

2 Teaspoons lemon juice

3 Cups all purpose flour

1 1/2 Teaspoons baking soda

1/4  Teaspoon sea salt

3/4 Cup softened butter

2 1/2 Cups sugar

3 Eggs

2 Teaspoons vanilla

1 1/2 Cup skim milk

Ganache (optional)

Opt for your choice of chocolate or cream cheese frosting if you do not like ganache.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Grease and flour your pan or baking dish of choice.

In a small bowl, mix banana purée with lemon juice; set aside.

In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda and sea salt; set aside

In a larger bowl, cream 3/4 cup butter and 2 1/8 cups sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then fold in 2 tsp vanilla. Beat in the flour mixture while also adding your skim milk.

Fold in banana purée.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake in oven for 45 minutes or until cakes are golden brown.

Remove from oven and place on cooling rack.

Once cake is cooled add your choice of frosting or ganache pieces.
