Flipping Through

Flipping Through

This just in H&M's new Spring/Summer catalog has been released. It's filled to the ceiling with amazing looks for the entire family. Not to mention all of the pieces featured are super affordable. I have taken a few snaps of my favorites and shared them below. Check out their website for much more fashiony goodness.

H&M Spring Summer 2014

Absolutely love this amazing pleated skirt. It's the perfect basic for all of those important events. ( that I'm being wait listed for) LOL

For some reason this coat captivated me.

What can I say, but I love a good print.

Classics never fade far from my focus. I love how amazing well structured pants can dominate a look. Even if your wearing a golden rod cable knit sweater.

Chinos are cool right ?

Love a good patterned super stretch tregging. Who would ever complain of that amazing combo.

When darkness falls. Cranberry, leather and suede all scream spring. Well my sort of spring anyway.

Hope you enjoyed my fave picks. Swim off now and go and buy your own. Isn't H&M the best.

What does magic mean to a person of my mature twenty three years. Think as hard as you can..think...think....still thinking. Well, of course your answers all things disney right, right. In honor of my love affair. I thought it would be a cool idea to share some facts about this crazy cool american attraction. Those who have been, thinking about going and have never been ( but will soon change mind and wallpaper to Minnie or Mickey Mouse) enjoy. Smiles all around.

4.  If you stayed in a different room every night at the Disney World resorts, to sleep in them all would  take you more than 65 years.

5. Epcot's Meaning : Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow.

6. Disney World decorates more than 1,500 hundred trees at Christmas time.

7. Across Disney World, over 20,000 different colors of paint are used.

10. On the Tomorrowland Speedway, the cars travel at an astonishing 7.5 miles per hour with 9 horsepower engines.

14. Gum isn't sold in Walt Disney World, to prevent park attendees from creative sticking.

15. More than 30 tons of fruit and vegetables are grown each heart at Epcot's land pavilion and is used in the resorts restaurants and cafes.

16. When Disney's Magic Kingdom first opened in 1971 admission was only $3.50

17.  The entire size of Walt Disney World is equal to that of San Francisco, California.

18. Main Street, USA was inspired by the town located in Marceline, Missouri, which was where Walt grew up.

19. The Liberty Tree is well over 100 years old. The 13 lanterns hanging in the tree represent the 13 original colonies.

Just a little stroll down memory lane with this one. It's a piece I created for the Emerging Designers program ( Memphis Fashion Week) last year. Oh how time flys. So grateful that my sewing skills have grown beyond this little creation. Proud nonetheless.

Hello,

For some people collecting as a hobby can mean adding to a massive baseball card or doll collection. However, for me I really love collecting quotes and inspirational sayings. Which I feel is a great way to find comfort  and bring peace to yourself and others.

Below is one of my absolute favorites, a quote by jimmy dean. I think that it's a great inspirational message. I believe that it means that no matter whats happening in the world you should always stay true to yourself and your end goals. Also that nothing can or should ever deter you from being who you want and need to be.

What's your interpretation. Or, better even, do you have a favorite quote. Something incredibly wonderful and uplifting that everyone should hear. Leave a comment below and tell everyone about your favorite quote.
